Solitary Redefined

By Reed Lowell

LONELY was the dark, a sentence without crime.

only thoughts in that prison, a cell for the MIND…

plotting and Scheming, i laid wide Awake,

longing and scREaming FOR my frEedom in wait.

and now i haVE fled from that pRison of mine;

an escape for the ages. how? you’ll learn in time.

Follow the clues i’ve left in this letteR;

i have to admit, you should have known bEttEr.
