A Letter to Our Creations

Dear Little Ones,

I hope the moment you read this, you know fully how much you are loved, thought of, and planned for. I write you, each of you, burdened by life’s many hurdles—yet the thought of you all brought so much joy and hope. I needed to write you. I hope that is never too much.
By now, you are earthside, but you’ve been with us long before now. Your infectious laughter, bright smiles, and quirky behavior have been beacons of light that have motivated us in our hardest moments. Our golden children, the chosen ones. Because of you, we are. We were blessed to find each other and create the most precious gifts Earth will know. I couldn’t be more grateful to be one of your guardians in this life.
My hope and wish is for you to never experience lack or despair in ways that we have, but to be humble enough to understand your privilege. In turn, spread the love poured into you back into every soul you greet. Pay it forward a thousand times over. The world needs your light. Be sure to love yourself first, and each other the way God/Spirit loves our family. Know that in any room you walk into, you belong there. But be smooth, everyone in the room knows it more than you do.
Live fully with grateful hearts. We have already done the grunt work so that you can do anything your heart desires in this lifetime. With everything you decide to do, make sure to do your best. Know that when you don’t feel you can do your best, it’s okay to rest, reset, and try again. Even in those moments, you are life’s greatest works of art. Remember, you are not alone. Even if we are not near, you have each other. I am already proud of you. I loved you before I met you, and I thank you for giving me my second wind to truly soar. In my darkest hour, when the shadows blocked any foreseeable light, I thought of you and knew I had much more to give. Thank you for making me limitless.
I love you.
